Winter Prints is the last of the group shows that started in December 2023 featuring the work of member artists. This show will also include prints by former members Barbara Smith Gioia and Ursula Schneider. Similar to the previous shows, the purpose of this show is to showcase the various printmaking processes and expression that are characteristic of the artist members of Buster Levi. The artists work in a broad range of styles that include abstraction, realism, conceptual art and personal expressionism. For some of the artists, printmaking is an integral part of their art making practice at times incorporated into multi media works. For others, prints are another way of exploring imagery that is the focus of their work. The artists in the gallery follow their own interests and not a common aesthetic mode resulting in a rich and multifarious array of art.
The gallery will be open on weekends through from noon to five pm.
