Buster Levi Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition of artist members titled FLOW, which will run from August 7 through 29, 2021. The opening reception is August 6th from 6-8 pm. FLOW speaks to and celebrates being in the zone, whether in the studio or re-engaging with the larger, outside world in the fullness of summer and in the company of friends and family after a long period of isolation and anxiety.
Each of the fourteen members of the gallery will present one, possibly two works of art; Bill Kooistra’s saturated and textured oil on canvas Maine, 2021, 44 x 16 in serves as the show’s lead image. Works vary – from the quiet, contemplative figurative ceramic work of Ada Pilar Cruz, and the text piece, All I Want, by sculptor John Allen, through to photographer Lucille Tortora’s magnificent Jurassic, 2021, 16 x 16 inches, and Maria Pia Marella’s intimate rendering of iconic Storm King, oil on canvas, 18 x 18 inches. Paintings and mixed media works by Barbara Smith Gioia, Pat Hickman, Martee Levi et al round out the exhibition. For images, visit http://www.busterlevigallery.com/flow-august-2021.
